Dad: Eight of my Favorite Conversations with You

IMG_3920

My dad turned 80 last year. My  mother asked that each of us kids and grandkids write 8 things about him.  This is the first in a series of 8 things for my dad.

Eight of my Favorite Conversations with You, Dad

The one where we talk about how one day we’ll all be gone from this world as we know it, but that maybe…just maybe there will be another kind of being.

The one where we look at the cosmos and contemplate our place among them.

The one where I ask about your accomplishments and try to get you to share some of the brilliance you have gifted the world with.

The one about whatever’s currently going on in my life. And you listen really well and ask the best questions ever. (Thank you!)

The one about whatever’s currently going on with my kids.

The one where we talk about how wonderful Connie truly is.

The one where we talk about your current project and whether you know it or not – where I listen in amazement at your passion and interest and skill in pursuing whatever it is you’re doing as you work through each stage until it is accomplished.

The one where you let me know you love me so much and want me to be happy, and you see me walking right into all that wonderfulness.
